Six people have reportedly gone missing from the Kech district of Balochistan, since last night.

The detainees have been identified as Sattar S/O Raheem Baksh and Hayat S/O Aslam, residents of Absar Turbat.

Whereas, today on Friday, Pakistani forces allegedly disappeared four men after arresting them from district Kech, who have been identified as Qambar s/o Umeed, Azeez s/o Maula Baksh, Asad s/o Moosa, and Anas s/o Mullah Barkat.

The whereabouts of the detainees remain unknown, and the district administration has also not provided any information regarding their whereabouts.

It is pertinent to mention that the issue of the enforced disappearance of youths, students, teachers, doctors, and lawyers in Balochistan has been going on for the last two decades. The families of the missing persons and the Voices for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP), a campaign group for missing persons hold Pakistani intelligence agencies and the army responsible for enforced disappearances in Balochistan.
