A check-post of Pakistani Paramilitary forces, Frontier Corps (FC) was attacked in Khuzdar district of Balochistan on Tuesday evening.

According to police, unidentified persons hurled a hand grenade at an FC check post.

After the incident, security forces cordoned off the area and started strict checking. No arrests have been reported yet.

A Baloch “pro-independence” group, Baloch Liberation Army(BLA) claimed responsibility for the attack in a press release, on Wednesday.

BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch in the media statement said, “freedom fighters of Baloch Liberation Army targeted a post of Pakistani occupying forces in front of DIG office in Khuzdar on Tuesday.”

The spokesperson claimed that, in this hand grenade attack, a personnel of Pakistani forces was killed and two were injured.
