Sister of the missing Asad Baloch, a resident of Mand in district Kech, has appealed to the higher authorities for the safe recovery of her brother.

The sister has said that Asad was “forcibly disappeared” in July 2019 from the Nokain Kahn area of Mand. Two years later, he is still missing.

She said that the brother’s disappearances have plunged the family into agony: my elderly mother and father were “traumatized” to learn about their son’s “abduction.” They are severely ill and in a half-conscious state majority of the time, she said.

She remonstrated the higher authorities for the safer release of her missing brother.

The Baloch Social Media Activists – a group of rights activists that campaigns on social media platforms to highlight the numerous issues plaguing Balochistan – has announced that it will carry out a social media campaign for the release of Asad Baloch on July 10th. The activists appealed to the general public to participate in the campaign and raise their voices for the recovery of missing Asad Baloch.
