Two teachers of Haji Barkat language centre in Mand, killed one woman and injured three others in a knife attack.

According to sources, two teachers of the Haji Barkat language centre beat up few of the students, and when the families of the students went to the language centre to complain about the inappropriate behaviour of the teachers, the teachers reportedly attacked the women with knives. A woman identified as Rashida Hameed was killed and three other including two women and a man were injured in the incident.

The injured were identified as Fehmida Akram, Mehr Ul Nisa Aziz and Aziz Baloch.

The suspects Abdul Razaq and Imran residents of Singani Sar, Kech reportedly took refuge at FC camp after the incident; they were later handed over to the Balochistan levies after protests by locals.

On the other hand BYC Mand has condemned the attack on Baloch women and said that they will soon call for protest demonstrations against the incident.
