Military operation that started on Tuesday after a Baloch armed group attacked a Pakistani military base in Bolan has entered into the fifth day.
As per latest reports, forces have built a new base camp near Buzgar mountain range.

According to sources, a heavy military operation in the Bolan region of Balochistan has continued for the fifth day.

Pakistani Armed forces have built a new base camp near the mountain range of Buzgar. There are also reports that a large number of troops have been moving into the region.

According to sources a large number of troops have reached the area on Saturday and started a large-scale operation in Buzgar, Alik sar, Sirki kach, khargat and Gadaang and adjoining areas.

Local sources have confirmed that Pakistani Special Service Group (SSG) commandos are also taking part in the operation.

According to sources, a large number of shepherds and herders, living in the Buzgar mountain range, are besieged by the Pakistani armed forces. However, due to limited access to the sources so far no reports of losses of lives or arrests have been confirmed yet.

The authorities have also made no official statement regarding the operation.

It is to be remembered that on 31st of May in a severe gun attack members of a Baloch armed group, Baloch Liberation Army, killed more than a dozen Frontier Corps (FC) personnel after targeting a military base in Marwar area of Bolan Balochistan.

After the attack on Marwar base camp, Pakistani forces have started a huge military operation in various parts of the Bolan region using fighter jets and Gunship helicopters.
