Baloch students on Saturday announced the formation of a new social media forum, which would employ all the social media platforms to raise the academic and social issue plaguing Baloch students. The forum — named Baloch Students Social Media Forum — would also highlight the prevalent social issues in the Baloch society.

The newly formed forum said in a media statement that social media has been extensively used to raise voice against various issues facing Baloch students. Campaigners in Pakistan and around the world have used these platforms to unite and raise voice against injustices. It was, therefore, the need of time to form a social media forum that would highlight the major issues facing Baloch students and help them to work in unity for a common cause.

The statement said that the Baloch Students Social Media forum is a non-political forum that will use social media to raise the issues plaguing students in Balochistan. They said that the forum will aim to eradicate the ideological, tribal and linguistic differences between the Baloch students and unite them on a common front. Furthermore, the forum will also promote contact and cooperation between all the student organizations.

The forum urged the Baloch students to forgo their political and ideological differences and work together for a common cause.
