Four persons have been forcibly abducted in different parts of Balochistan.

According to reports, a man named Ayaz Bangulzai was abducted from Allah-Abad area of Sibi on Thursday. Ayaz Bangulzai was residing in Quetta for his job. He had come to Sibi for attending his brother’s wedding, where he was abducted on gun point in front of his house, family sources said.

Sources told TBP that two days earlier, Jan Beg Rind and Sultan Rind were taken into custody by plainclothes intelligence personnel from Dhadar area of Kachi district. Their whereabouts are unknown since.

Another man named Ghulam Mustafa, also resident of Dhadar, was forcibly abducted allegedly by the Pakistani forces from Quetta, on March 5.

The families of the said persons said that we are working class families and we are not involved in politics or other matters. They demanded the immediate release of their loved ones.

After a sit in protest by families of the Baloch missing persons in Islamabad and reassurance of government for their safe recovery, once again a serge has been witnessed in enforced disappearances.

In past four days, nine cases of enforced disappearances have been reported from Noshki, Quetta, Sibi, Kachi and Turbat cities of Balochistan.

Earlier this week, Pakistani forces reportedly killed 5 missing persons in a fake encounter in Mastung area of Balochistan. According to law enforcement officials, 5 men killed in an encounter were affiliated with militant groups.

While on contradictory, the families and the rights groups stated that the aforementioned persons were already under forces’ custody and they are shot killed in a “fake encounter”.
