A hand grenade attack on Tuesday, injured 2 persons in Quetta.

A grenade attack at Golimar chowk in capital city of Balochistan has left 2 people injured. Police sources said miscreants lobbed a hand grenade at a barbershop.

The attack wounded 2 people, rescue workers moved the injured to the hospital for medical treatment. The blast also smashed the glasses of the barbershop.

Law enforcement forces reached the spot as investigation into the incident went underway. The attackers escaped the scene unhurt. The injured identified as Rehmatullah and Farhan.

Home Minister Balochistan, has condemned the incident. In a statement, the minister asked the police to submit a report in this regard within 24 hours.

Today’s attack comes four days after the attack on security forces in Quetta’s Western Bypass. The earlier attack killed one soldier and injured another.

No militant group has claimed the attack yet.
