At least two persons have been picked and taken to undisclosed location after Pakistani forces carried raids in Dera Bugti, Balochistan.

According to details, Pakistani forces and intelligence agencies allegedly “abducted” two persons during a raid in Dhalo Otagh, Uch town of Dera Bugti district. The abductees were identified as Latto son of Karmo Bugti and Lalu son of Mittha Bugti.

The locals have alleged that during the raid residents were reportedly subjected to torture and more than 200 cattle of the residents were taken away by personnel of securirty forces.

Enforced disappearances in Balochistan are one of the most serious issues in the region. The Baloch pro-freedom political parties and human rights activists maintain that Pakistani forces have “abducted”thousands of Baloch.

According to human rights organisations the disappeared Baloch have no access to legal representatives neither are their families kept informed about their safety and wellbeing.
