Three Baloch former insurgents who had surrendered before the Pakistani army went missing in Kolpur, Balochistan, on Thursday.

According to details, Habib Khan, Sodagar and Tariq – former pro-independence fighters who had surrendered before the Pakistani security forces – were allegedly detained by the Pakistani military on Thursday in Kolpur, Balochistan. They were subsequently moved to an undisclosed location. The missing persons belonged to the Marri tribe of Balochistan.

There has been no information from the relevant authorities in this regard. Such incidents have also been reported in the past where former Baloch insurgents have been detained or target killed allegedly by the intelligence services after surrender.

According to reports, several surrendered insurgents from various cities of Balochistan have been abducted or killed, either by Baloch insurgents for “betrayal and treason” or by the local death squads for personal revenge or “by orders of Pakistan Army”.
