A woman died from Congo virus in Quetta, capital city of Balochistan on Friday

According to details received by TBP, A woman from Saryab area of Quetta was admitted in suspicion of Congo virus in Fatema Jinnah Hospital two days ago.

On Friday, hospital administration confirmed the patient with Congo virus who couldn’t survive.

It is reported to be the second death Congo virus brought this year in Quetta.

According to Doctor Sadiq Baloch, 9 patients have already been confirmed with Congo virus, were brought to Fatema Jinnah hospital this year.

As per the medical students, “no emergency steps have been taken by the administration yet and people are haunted by the thought that they can’t be treated well in hospitals of Balochistan due to the lack of medical facilities”.
