Security forces were attacked on CPEC route in Panjgur district of Balochistan on Sunday—responsibility of the attack has been taken by BRAS.

According to details received by The Balochistan Post, Pakistani security forces were attacked by Baloch militants on China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) route in Balgatar area of Balochistan earlier today.

Official sources have confirmed the loss of four security personnel in the attack.

Baloch Raji Ajoi Sangar (BRAS), an alliance of three Baloch pro-freedom organisations, Baloch Liberation Army, Balochistan Liberation Front and Baloch Republican Guard, has claimed the responsibility of the attack.

Baloch Khan, the spokesperson for BRAS, has stated that BRAS fighters had attacked the Pakistani security forces patrolling team and a camp at the same time on Sunday morning on CPEC route in between Panjgur and Turbat city.

“The attack resulted in killing nine and injuring several forces personnel and their equipments are confiscated by our fighters”, claimed Baloch Khan.

“Considering Baloch National identity, civilization and historical relations with Arabs, Saudi Arabia shouldn’t join the oppressive projects of the terrorist state, Pakistan and avoid to be the participant in Baloch genocide”, he added.

“We will never let succeed the China and Pakistan’s looting projects of Baloch national wealth”, Baloch Khan vowed.
