Locals gathered in front of Deputy Commissioner’s office to protest against load shedding.

According to the details received by the Balochistan Post, angered over continuous tripping and load shedding of electric power, locals blocked the road in front of Deputy Commissioner’s office in Panjgur on Thursday.

The protesters had come from Soordo, Sreekoran and Washap towns of Panjgur and had gathered in front of DC office.

Talking to the media, a protestor said that their machines and other electronics have been damaged due to abrupt tripping of the power supply, and un-announced load shedding has brought their business down to the knees.

Protestors kept the road blocked for hours and chanted slogans against the government and power department.

After hours of negotiation with the Deputy Commissioner, protest was ended peacefully
