A dead body discovered in Kalat, whereas, two women shot dead in Dukki area of Balochistan on Monday

According to details received by The Balochistan Post, dead body of a person was discovered from Syako, a mountainous area in Kalat district on Monday.

Later in the hospital, the deceased was identified as Basheer Ahmed Mohammed Hasni.

According to the locals, Basheer Ahmed was working as a clerk in Education department and was abducted 10 months ago from Kalat.

In another news, two women were killed in firing in Dukki area of Balochistan.

Police told the media that the women were killed in Killi Machan Kail area of Dukki by armed men, who managed to escape from the scene after the attack.

The motives behind the killings could not be ascertained immediately.

A dramatic surge has been witnessed in violence against women in Balochistan during the last couple of months.

More than ten women have been killed in so-called ‘Honor killing’ and at least two women were injured in acid attacks.
