Two missing persons have returned to their families, while two others have gone missing from different parts of Balochistan.

According to local TBP correspondents, Pakistani security forces ‘forcibly disappeared’ two persons, while two previously missing persons returned to their homes.

In Peerandar Awaran, Pakistani security forces raided a house and arrested a person identified as Noor Baksh s/o Mayar. He was later taken to an undisclosed location and has not been heard of.

In another incident in Khuzdar, a person identified as Abdul Waheed was arrested and taken to an undisclosed location in front of several witnesses. Mr. Waheed has a milk shop in the town.

Whereas, Two missing persons have returned to their homes. Ali Baksh s/o Raheem Baksh and Ishaq s/o Hussain, who were arrested from Peedark, were released today.

Balochistan is plagued by the enforced disappearances of Baloch youth and activists. Recently instances of ‘women and children abductions’ have also been reported. Many of the missing persons have also been killed and dumped.

International campaign groups including Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International accuse Pakistani security forces as the perpetrators of ‘illegal abductions in Balochistan’.
