At least three members of a local militia, called ‘Amn Force’, have been killed, whereas, multiple others have been injured in attacks by unknown persons in Dera Bugti.

According to details received by The Balochistan Post, three members of the so-called Amn Force (Peace Force) were killed by unknown assailants yesterday in Dasht Goran, Dera Bugti.

In the attack, a camp of the Amn Force was targeted with rocket propelled grenades and other firearms.

Three members of the force, identified as Tahir s/o Shah Muhammad Shambani Bugti, Ghulam Shareef s/o Dazk Shambani Bugti and Peer Baksh s/o Dad Ali Bugti, were killed in the fierce attack.

Two others, identified as Rezagh s/o Ameer Khan and Hango Shambani Bugti, sustained injuries.

In second attack, members of Amn Force, who were chasing the assailants of the first attack came under an IED attack. At least one person was injured in this attack.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack at the time of filing this report. However, Dera Bugti has seen intense fighting between Pakistani Army and Baloch ‘freedom fighters’ since veteran Baloch leader Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti was killed in a military operation in 2006.
