Two people were reportedly killed in the name of honor in Balochistan’s Dera Murad Jamali area of Naseerabad district.

According to reports, a man allegedly killed two people along with his wife in the name of honor in Dera Murad Jamali.

On the other hand, the families of the deceased victims have blocked the Sindh and Balochistan roads in protest against the incident.

The protesters said that the incident was dramatically given the name of honor killing which is completely wrong. The demonstrators urged the police and the concerned authorities to ensure justice and punishment for the accused by investigating the incident.

It is pertinent to mention that the “Honor Killings” in Balochistan are becoming an increasingly alarming issue. This is the third incident reported in the current month of June. Earlier on June 4, two cases of honor killings were reported from the Naseerabad district that resulted in death of three individuals.
