In an incident in Dera Allah Yar, two individuals, including a woman, were killed in the name of honour. The ongoing series of honour killings in Balochistan has claimed two more lives.

In the Gurmani Kot area, within the jurisdiction of Dera Allah Yar police station, a man opened fire, killing a woman named Mahmooda and a man named Sajid Ali.

Following the incident, local police arrested the suspect involved in the double murder, recovered the weapon used, and transferred both bodies to the DHQ Hospital.

While the police have not disclosed the identity of the arrested suspect, they have confirmed that the incident was motivated by honour.
