Shahrag: At least one Pakistan army personnel was killed in an armed attack in Khost area.

According to details received by TBP, Pakistan army’s check-post situated at Zardalu area of Khsot, came under armed attack.

The responsibility of the attack was taken by a Baloch pro-independence group Baloch Liberation Army (BLA).

BLA spokesman, Jeeyand Baloch said in a statement, our sarmachars (fighters) targeted a Pakistan army personnel in a sniper attack at their check-post in Khost area of Shahrag, as a result of which he was killed on the spot.

This was the second attack on Pakistani army in Balochistan within last three days, as previously army’s vehicle was blown up in Kech district, which resulted in killing six personnel including a major.

As per the reports, a series of indiscriminate operations and raids were launched in different areas of Kech district, after the attack. During the operation several people were forcefully disappeared and 6 oil traders were killed in army’s indiscriminate firing.
