Baloch activist to request India’s intervention during Modi’s US visit

A Baloch activist has said that he plans to stand outside the NRG stadium in US where Indian PM Modi is scheduled to address and request his intervention.

Nabi Baksh Baloch from the Baloch National Movement has said that Pakistan does not care for Baloch and continues to do genocide of the community. Requesting both PM Modi and President Trump, he plans to ask them to ‘Free Balochistan’.

“We have a request to the India Prime Minister who has reached Houston. Our basic demand is to remove the hold of Pakistan on Balochistan, where human rights violation is being done. Cultural genocide, mass killings, and mass grabbing is occurring. We demand President Donald Trump and PM Modi to intervene. They are the world’s top two leaders and we demand them to help us in the freedom of Balochistan. The CPEG project in Balochistan is a genocide project because Pakistan has never cared for Baloch people, only their land and property. Hence we are here and will be standing outside the venue with banners – Free Balochistan. We want free Balochistan from Pakistan,” he said while talking to Republic TV.

Talking about a similar atrocity faced by Sindhis in the area, Zafar Sahito of the Jeay Sindh Mutahida Muhaz also spoke to the media. He too shared the community’s state requesting the two leaders intervention. Demanding for Sindhudesh, he said that they wished to retain their identity. He also asked for Balochistan’s freedom from Pakistani harassment.
