A mutilated dead body was recovered from the outskirts of Khuzdar city, on Friday.

According to reports received by The Balochistan Post News Desk, Police has found the mutilated body of a man from Pir-Omar area of district Khuzdar.

The body was shifted to the Civil Hospital Khuzdar, where he was identified as Abdul Waheed Nosherwani.

According to the local administration, Abdul Waheed was abducted six days ago by unknown gunmen. The incident is further being investigated by the police.

The reason of abduction and killing has not been ascertained yet.

Target killings and dumped bodies are not uncommon in Balochistan. According to reports, thousands of dead bodies have been found and hundreds have been target killed over the past two decades, most of them were said to be political activists.
