According to details received by TBP, Farmers in Killa Saifullah area of Balochistan have dumped tomatoes on the roads as a gesture of protest after the prices crashed in the wholesale markets.

The Zamindar Action Committee led a rally to protest the decrease in the price.

We are facing losses of millions of rupees which is an economic destruction, protesters said.

The government doesn’t respect farmers or land owners, the protesters lamented, calling for an end to the smuggling of tomatoes from Afghanistan, India and Iran.
