Four policemen killed, and six others were injured when an improvised explosive device (IED) went off near a police mobile near mini market area of the capital city Quetta on Monday night.

According to the police, the bomb was installed near the patrolling route of police and went off when a police patrol passed by, killing and wounding the policemen and badly damaging police mobile.

Personnel of security forces soon arrived at the area of the blast and rushed the injured to the nearby hospital.

No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
