Two BLA fighters were killed in a combat with Pakistani forces in Kharan area of Balochistan on Thursday.

According to details received by The Balochistan Post, Pakistani forces launched fresh military operation in Kharan region of Balochistan on Thursday.

During the operation in the result of a combat between Pakistani forces and members of Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), a pro-independence Baloch armed organisation, two BLA fighters lost their lives and Pakistani forces also received heavy casualties.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan Armed Forces confirmed the news of the two BLA fighters killings in a military operation in Lijje area of Kharan.

ISPR further stated that heavy ammunition has also been recovered in recent military operations in Kalat, Maiwand and Kharan areas of Balochistan.

Whereas BLA has also confirmed the ‘martyrdom’ of its two memebers

Jiyand Baloch, spokesperson of BLA has released a statement in media saying “Pakistani forces launched an operation in Lijje area of Kharan with aerial support and commandos they cordoned off the area. During the operation there was a six hours long combat between forces and BLA fighters, multiple forces personnel were killed and two BLA fighters Noor Ahmed Sasoli alias Najeeb and Shehzad Baloch alias Asif also embraced martyrdom”.
