The dead body of a previously missing person has been found from Mashkay.

According to details received by TBP, a dead body was found from Mashkay on Sunday. The deceased has been identified as Moosa s/o Lal Mohammad.

Moosa was reportedly arrested by Pakistani security forces from Nookjo Reendak area of Mashkay more than ten days ago. He was not heard of ever since. However, today his body was found by locals.

This is the third missing person allegedly killed in last few days.

Earlier a body of missing person was found from Panjgur on 13th October 2018. The deceased had been identified as Ali Dost s/o Mohammed, who was a resident of Gichk Panjgur.

According to the sources, the dead body was beyond recognition due to being in severely decomposed condition but had been identified by an ID card found near the body.

“Ali dost was abducted in June last year from Panjgur by a death squad group working under the supervision of Pakistani intelligence agencies,” locals alleged.

Another missing person, who was released, succumbed to his torture injuries in a hospital.

The Baloch youth Wahid s/o Umar was arrested and taken away by Pakistani forces on 21st September 2018. He was a resident of Teerandask in Dasht.

He was then shifted to a local hospital in injured condition by Pakistani security forces.

According to hospital sources Wahid had several marks of torture including those inflicted through electric shocks on his body. He finally succumbed to his injuries on 13th October 2018 after his kidneys failed.

Balochistan is plagued by the enforced disappearances of Baloch youth and activists. However, recently instances of ‘women and children abductions’ have also been reported. Many of the missing persons have been ‘killed and dumped’.

International campaign groups including Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International accuse Pakistani security forces as the perpetrators of ‘illegal abductions in Balochistan’.
